Our Mission Statement:
Australian Desert Expeditions (ADE) principal purpose is to protect
and enhance the natural environment by undertaking research of the Australian desert
environment and promotion of that research.
Our Vision
It is our vision to systematically survey the
Australian desert with comprehensive and targeted ecological programs, in conjunction with
providing the trekker with an unmatched educational ecotourism experience, revealing the
desert landscape with every step.

A brief version of our Constitution and
Principal Purpose:
1.1
The Principal
Purpose of the Company is to protect and enhance the natural environment by undertaking
research of the Australian desert environment and the promotion of that research.
1.2
Solely in
furtherance of carrying out the Principal Purpose, the Company may undertake the following
activities:
(a)
the carrying out of science based research within the Australian desert environment in
relation to:
(i) lack
of species diversification and impact of feral animals;
(ii) flora
and fauna (including prehistoric evidence of flora and fauna;
(iii) soil
and water quality; and
(iv) the
interrelationship between Australian indigenous peoples and the natural Australian desert
environment;
(b)
provision of information and education;
(c)
undertaking works to protect and enhance biodiversity, and to
maintain and improve soil and water quality;
(d)
promoting the principles of ecologically sustainable development;
(e)
establishment and operation of a Public Fund that may be placed on
the Register of Environmental Organisations; and
subject to the Act and to any other provision of this
Constitution, do all such things as are needed to further the Principal Purpose.
